[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Hands and feet of the bride, her family and friends are decorated with Henna paste before the wedding in most parts of Asia. The ceremony is called Mehndi or Mayun in Sindh Pakistan and is celebrated before the wedding day. The paste is left to dry and when the paste falls off it stains the hand and feet a reddish maroon color. It is rubbed with some oil to give some longevity to the colors. The colors harmonize with the colors of the dresses and jewellery of the wedding.
I took this photograph just after the paste was applied to the hand. Hope you like it.Thanks.

Hello Muhammad - This is interesting to see indeed! Normally only the final result is shown in photographs. So I had no idea how such a beautiful design looked at an earlier stage.
The one suggestion I might have re the photo itself is that, if you take such a beautiful work of art again, you might want to try and work without flash so that no area gets over-exposed (as is the case here with the bottom of this beautiful hand).
Thank you for sharing, including the very interesting note! Have a good weekend! - Cordelia :))
