This is Kennecott's Bingham Canyon Mine, Utah

The mine has been in production since 1906, and has resulted in the creation of a pit over 0.75 mile (1.2 km) deep, 2.5 miles (4 km) wide, and covering 1,900 acres (7.7 kmē).
It is considered to be the world's largest man-made excavation.

I like the way you cropped this, Andriy. The panoramic version is nice too and it gives a good survey of the area, but this compo works better for me. Nice contrasts in the colours of the soil, exposure is cool!
