I said to my wife Marilyn, the theme for Friday is 'Two Wheels', would you drive YOUR car round the roundabout in town while I grab a picture?
She said she would do it...but in OUR car, not HERS.
She got half way round, then chickened out, straightened up and shot down the main street.
I just managed to capture this shot as the car was coming down onto four wheels again.
I'll be buying a new set of tyres on Monday;)
I'm having to post early, because I will be away for three days.
I will catch up next Monday, have a great weekend.

Peter,
Hahahaha...very cool. Good notes and pretty decent PP work.
I really like the skid marks. Some flying rubber would have been a nice addition to this scene as well!
Good work, fits the theme. The focus here is outstanding as well as the details that the f/8 provided.
Well done and thanks for the laugh.
Scott

Hi Peter,
he,he..great image, excellent funny note,
you make my day better!!!
Thank you!

Igor

Hello Peter,

Awesome idea and awesome shot. Those black marks on the tarmac is a sure sign of the new set of tires. This is much more than drifting

Have a nice day.

Hilarious Pete. It's just a matter of when, not if, Marilyn will be stopped by the police for reckless driving. :-)

Great idea and PP work. Congrats.

Martyn

This is cool Pete.
I actually believed you for a moment there too,but the black rubber gave it away.
.... How do I know ?
I used to do this around the Opaheke Rd roundabout in Papakura in my old bright red and yellow Ford Prefect .... the trouble is,it was so tall it would always go up the other two wheels when I straightened up,then wobble violently before settling !
Brings back great memories.
Cheers
Steve
