Hi David - I'm not generally a fan of pet shots, but this is a dramatic exception. Weimaraners really are beautiful animals and the pose.setting here really is impressive.

She really does look like a proud, strong dog as she stands almost silhouetted against that sky. Lovely shot.

A Beautiful dog expertly captured against the lilacs of the sky (her coat seems to reflect the colours of the sky a little). From a compositional point of view I would have perhaps cropped the dead grass from the right side of the photo (as viewed).

Well said, David: "I was able to catch her against a beautiful, cloudy sky at the summit of a hill." Not a word too much, and very true. She looks like a nice dog, and you placed her well in this picture. Light is very well controlled too, not easy with that bright a sky.

Lovely shot, she look gorgeous with the way she stand. Very nice pov with her against the sky, I like the desaturation and contrast, but to me her face look a bit dark, like to see her in brighter face...:D but that's just me. :D

I do know my basics with Dogs David, enogh to know you have a very very special creature here.
They are EXCELLENT if brought up well..
A dog with a VERY strong will of its own.
BE firm.. but gentle and consistent..They love to respect the Alpha-you .. and like to get somerespect love .. back!
And a dog that needs to walk atleast 2x 5 to 10 miles a day

Good feelings looking here , a ROYAL pose of our Bonzo :-)

Beautifully done David, tall grass on right and position of clouds makes it perfect. Nice equipment you have also.
