[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I brought my camera to work today hoping I might get a chance to shoot on the way home. There is supposed to be rain for a week so now or never I figured.

This is the edge of Pitt River. The tide was out so I concentrated on foreground interest with the weeds and twigs, then placed the sun and some old pillars up top.

I used a two stop neutral grad filter with all other filters off. There is no post production here, just beefed up the camera saturation and contrast, and of course I shoot in full manual mode, thats it!

wow, beautiful sunset Scott, yes the foreground made it a perfect composition, wonderful warm colors you captured well.the wider version would be more interesting as well.thumbs up my friend.

I like this Scott, I keep wanting to see it horizontally so I can tell which way would be best for this! I love using a super wide for things like this! Really nice shot and I forgive the OE..it's just the way the sun is!

Full manual mood.. wow.. if only I had the nerve. This is simply stunning, Scott. The colour and the foreground are so perfect. Again the way you see and use the light is wonderful. Excellent.

Wowee! I love orange an yellow generally but this is...fa-bu-lous!
Great job on the focussin and the black balance (if that's a term) is awesome.
