[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
On deep end there is nothing but shrilling silence disturbed by noise of crows.. So cold, so dark... the heart cannot feel anything anynore... walking alone for so long, but there is no destination... only black trees and red sky... that`s infinity at death`s door.



that is what i feel while i look deeply into this picture.

Altgough it was oryginaly nice and bright sunny picture, I have seen it that way the same time i was taking it in sunny day.
so that is what i did step by step:
changed to B&W and adjusted autobrightness;
brightness: -19%
contrast: +100%
midtones: -66%
after that i added saturation (+60), it still was B&W but allowed me to adjust colours afterwards;
Hue: +5 (red/orange on scale)
amount: +62%

I hope you enjoy it. And for myself, I hope it will be returning to posting pictures more often... :o)

Ha! The return of "a kuku"! (By the way: I'm still wondering what your nickname means ;o).) Welcome back Maya!
You're at your best when you change photos in order to make them fit with your mood or your inner world. I think you did a good job out of the original photo, which is "nice" but "just" nice... Here, we really can feel what you describe in your note. It DOES look scary.
Just one remark, that has nothing to do with your remark on MY frame: it's about,... hmm, YOUR frame ;o). I think it diminishes the impact of the beautiful gradation of colours you have: from bright to dark; danger comes from above, but the dark frame beneath somehow contradicts this. I would have tried a white frame of no frame at all. A detail though...
