I was with my girlfriend taking shots one afternoon at the Corniche area. She spotted a good shot for me and pointed out to the sun which was going down at an extra fast rate. When i looked at it i swear i could see it moving and sinking down really fast. i just took this shot, I don't really know what is the danger of pointing the camera sensor towards the sun. Some guys tell me its bad to point it directly at it as it will cause some damage or something. But I didnt have enough time to think, no choice as i was witnessing something happening very fast. I didnt want to lose it so i took the risk and clicked. A minute after, the sun went away. Im very new to these things, and now i know so many things happen very quickly out there. I should be more observant of the changes in conditions and how these will affect available light from my environment.

Hello Mark

Beautiful visual and compo!
amazed with the lukewarm colors of this place
and the flight of the seagulls here.
His fire ball is wonderful and clean.
Congratulations

Sérgio

beautiful warm capture of the setting sun Mark, good silhoutte of the tower adding a drama on the image, a little bit saturated and a little tilt to the left to level the horizon is my only comment, nevertheless a wonderful image.
regards...........andres
