Thi is a pair of scarlet Macaws, a very beutifull bird but not often found in trees in Devon. I would have been happier if i'd got the face and beek better.

Hi Codge, you certainly caught this bird in motion with good details,& as you mentioned the white head is a tad overexposed
& that takes away from the vibrant image this could be IMHO

Ron

Hi Codge

Good capture of colours. Ok exposure in difficult metering conditions. Nice to see these two birds playing like that!

I do find the placement of subject is a little disappointing, I think it would work far better if you placed them off-centre, or at least cropped the shot from the right to remove some of the unnecessary foliage.

Hello Codge

Great photo.
It is really difficult to see which bird ends and starts where.
That makes for a really interesting photo.
The kind od shot that makes you look at it in real detail.

Thanks for sharing .

Regards

Roy

Hello Codge,
Fantastic colours and detail. Great capture.
Regards, jmb

Fabulous colours but difficult to make out the detail and I agree you can make do with cropping on the left. It will also take out part of the busy background.
