We took the kids into Boston for a Bruins Hockey game over the weekend... Saturday was a complete WASH out it rained over 2 inches! But the game was great!

Sunday we walked around they city.. it was a cold, windy day with plenty of SUN!

Just across the harbor we where watching Planes take off from Logan International Airport (still far away I could not get off a good shot) I noticed a bunch of HUNGRY Gulls... I usually do not give them a 2nd glance but this one was very bold walked right up to me as to say "HEY YOU TOURIST WITH THAT CAMERA AROUND YOUR NECK FEED ME!!!!!!"

PP: cropped out his feet and back.. adjusted in RAW then converted to jpeg sharpened... sized framed text

heading back to the airport today to bring Tom back :(
edit... Tom's plane was delayed so we have him until tomorrow a.m.......

Hello Tricia

What a cheeky chap, lovely capture, nice and sharp shot with superb texture and detail even in full sunlight you did well not to over expose this shot.

Hi Tricia,

I love gulls I think the photograph so well, and this is no exeption. Great lighting and good detail in that beady little eye.

Cheers

Hi Tricia,
Brilliantly detailed capture of this janitor of the beach. His/hers plumage is caught in wonderful light and sharpness.
Regards, Tom

This is a beauty Tricia - I mean I don't think seagulls are beautiful, but you managed to capture every tiny details on his feathers!
Don't worry about the gulls they always manage to find food and especially when tourists are around.

Ciao Tricia, splendid portrait of this lovely gull, great sharpness and wonderful details, very well done, ciao Silvio

Hello Tricia,
This is a fine profile portrait, showing good details in the plumage!
And they are bold indeed, sometimes they visit and steal food from my magpies and the magpies, normally brave birds, are afraid of the gulls...
A well balanced composition!
Greetings,
pablo -

Exceptionally fine tight PoV and composition
This one is really superb. Despite your high PoV, it looks far more regal than the noisy beggar it usually is
