Night or Day?
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This picture is so amazing to me because it was taken at NIGHT... yes at night, and that bright light between the two buildings is the moon. Not the sun.
I was just experimenting with taking pictures in very low light. I just set the camera up, set the shutter speed to 15 seconds, clicked the shutter and waited. The picture was amazing and I'm going to post the original as a workshop. I tried to make this one look eerie, and I think it came out pretty well.
PP Notes
-Cropped
-Increased the saturation
-Clone brushed out a few very small details

Hi Aaron,
Nice! Looks real good. Like the dark sepia tone. This could've easily been a b&w, but, I like the brown tinge...it makes it richer. Reminds me of those horror pics where the trees come alive to rip you from the house. Glad that's not where I'm staying! ;P The tree on the left is a little bit of a distraction, but, I know you got it in so you could get the window, so, I think you handled the composition very well. You know, with the way the streetlight (I'm guessing it's not a flash) lit up that tree, it does look like it could be a day shot. Good work!
Richard
I agree with Richard... it seems a horror movie picture... just perfect!!!
Congratulations!!!
