IN THE WINTER JANIS IAN

The days are okay
I watch the TV in the afternoon
If I get lonely
The sound of other voices
Other rooms are near to me
I'm not afraid
The operator
She tells the time
It's good for a laugh
There's always radio
And for a dime I can talk to God
Dial-a-prayer
Are you there?
Do you care?
Are you there?
And in the winter
extra blankets for
the cold
Fix the heater, getting old
I am wiser now, I
know, but still as big
a fool
Concerning you
I met your friend
She's very nice what can I say?
It was an accident
I never dreamed we'd
meet again this way
You're looking well
I'm not afraid
You have a lovely home
Just like a picture
No, I live alone
I found it easier
You must remember how
I never liked
The party life
Up all night
Lovely wife
You have a lovely wife
And in the winter
extra blankets for
the cold
Fix the heater, getting old
You are with her now, I know
I'll live alone forever
Not together now

Dreamy, moody, pensive...deep meanings and thoughts. This image has both emotion and beauty for a highly memorable impression. You and your creativity did an excellent job:)

Hi Annette,

Who is the person in this very well done composition? She is not Janis Ian. Janis is a favorite singer and song writer of mine. She was singing and writing songs even befor the CD's and DVD's were around. Your lyrics fit your digital art.

Hi Annette,
Great artistic impression of yourself :-)
Like the PP you you did, the unsharpness and cloudy layer. Great pose too. A fine posting Annette!
Hans

Beautiful look of this face.
I like the frame, it enriches your work
and it arrives well close to what is waited.
Great artistic impression

Surely you are not looking forward to Winter Annette? Once more your creative artwork comes to the fore. A very good portrait of yourself and nicely treated with the PP work. TFS,

Very unusual (self?) portrait. I like the PP. Of course an image like this can be also obtained from a vaseline smeared mirror. The theme is amply illustrated.

Hi Annette,

Impressive PP work, lovely mood, nice effects and lighting.

Hello Anette,
It is always nice to see an artistic twist on photographic material!
The question is, would Rembrandt and van Gogh do the same if the medium was available for them??
Possibly, I will not rule that out, hehehe...
