Although Bordeaux is well known and respected city in the world, as the historic part of the city is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the visit to Bordeaux was a big disappointment. The city was dirty and disorganized. In addition, in the city center, near the cathedral, I did not feel safe, as being nagged by not-so-nice people several times.
Here: one of the most beautiful object in the historic center and one of the symbols of Bordeaux, the Great Clock (Grosse Cloche) built as the previous Town Hall's belfry. |
