[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just a landscape shot in the mountains shortly before the sun slips behind the mountains to the west for the evening. Spray Lakes is actually a drinking water reservoir west of Canmore that follows a long narrow valley up in the mountains. I recognize that the right side is darker than we would all like, but this is a natural hazard of taking near sunset photos in the mountains. I might just have to return at a slightly earlier time of day and check out the colours and shadows again. I have entered the coordinates so you can see where this is.

Hi Karen
Just a landscape you say? I find it splendid with the lake returning to life after a long winter. The light is perfect and I love the slanting layers of rock in the mountains. Nice blue sky and a well balanced composition.
Bravo
Serge

PS Do I see a dust spot on your captor? It's in the top left corner.

Hi Karin
You certainly have the photographer's eye as this is really a beautiful shot of the thawing lake with the sun enhancing those mountains. Being there at the right time.
Great photo

Hi Karin,

Nicely wide landscape! A bit dark on the right side, but I guess the sun was hitting a mountain there and throwing the deep shadow there. Nice subtle gradual blue in the skyline. I like it.

Greetings,
Dennis

Hi Ms Karin

A fanatstic alpine scene, with the snow enhancing the graphism. Good sharpness, & a marvellous blue sky. Tfs!
