MEMORIAL STADIUM is home to the University of Illinois football team.
Memorial stadium was constructed in 1923 as a memorial to the Illinois men and women who served in WWI. Their names have been written on the 200 pillars that surround the stadium. In May of 2002, the University of Illinois Alumni Association began a campaign to fund an Illinois veterans’ memorial project that recognized 1,087 people who lost their lives in later wars. The stadium was officially dedicated on October 18th 1924; during this game against Michigan, Harold E. “Red” Grange scored six touchdowns beating the Wolverines 39-14 in what was the single greatest performance in Memorial Stadium. |

Good image and interesting perspective. It's give the impression of "grandeur". I would make the trees on the left bottom part desapear tho, they distracted a bit. Or easier just crop the image a bit tighter.
Hi Bill,
I like the diminishing composition here. Lovely colors. I would have moved a bit left to take a symmetrical composition. But, it is personal preference. Rest are perfect. TFS.
Kiran.
Hi Bill,
You have nice DOF and symmetry here. The left is a bit of a distraction taking away from the shot. I played with a workshop to see the difference. I hope you don't mind. ;-)
TFS,
Perfect.
Beautifully composed and presented.
What a great shot!

Hi Bill.
A good image with a great scence of size and might.
I like the way the eye is naturally led to the door at the end.....mmmm....whats behind it ?
It might be an idea to clone out the trees at the bottom left, but apart from that,a damn good image.
Joe.
