Forbidden city in beijing, the way i see it. selected the sky first converted to BW in channel mixer then selected inverse and again converted to BW in channe mixer. used to cloning tool to remoce the degradations of the edges.
The symmetry is real, i mean it is like this in reality.

very nice but push your idea to the limit and burn everything below the roof to pitch black !

superb composition Kourosh and great post processing work! state-of-the-art i'd say;-)) this b&w and the contrast makes a very powerful image!! i like your vision of the place;-) congrats!

Moody, this building has a very real forbidding presence in the way you've processed it. Your photoshop interpretation is excellent, though i agree you could have gone further.... great stuff.
