Hi Pierre
A great choice of motive. The capture it self, very well managed, beautiful light, very well composed, you have done a real good job, compliments.
Greetings
Jens.
Bonjour Pierre,
Jolie prise.
Amicalement,
Olivier

Hi Piere,
I very like your shot. colors details composition and light very nice..also the old man...
I imagine this shot down to up and the man in the centre of the picture touching the chains and seems so tired...
Then the feel the poem that you write in your note Turkish proverb...The feelings and old man in near the last term of his life....
Ağır, ağır çıkacaksın bu merdivenlerden,
Eteklerinde güneş rengi bir yığın yaprak,
Ve bir zaman bakacaksın semâya ağlayarak..
Sular sarardı.. yüzün perde perde solmakta,
Kızıl havaları seyret ki akşam olmakta...
Slowly you will ascend these stairs,
A bundle of sun-colored leaves on your skirts,
And once you will look, crying, at the skies...
The waters blanch.. as your face pales curtain-like,
As evening comes—observe the reddened air...

hello Pierre
82 feet is peanut for trekkers and photographers! I am sure there is no problem for you.
Very interesting to see the stairs going down and it is wet! Good way to show through your photo.

I really like this, Pierre. I think I'd recrop to put your tired-out gentleman a little closer to the powerpoint (where the lines of thirds intersect)
Great details, superb colours

Fantastic view,
I like how the stairs turn our eyes out of the composition.

I see what you mean Pierre, I would need a team of porters to get back up. Nicely composed and just enough saturation. I think with all that stone you handled the light well too. TFS,
David

Greetings, Pierre -
I enjoy looking through your gallery. This is an unusual shot with the POV looking down the curving stairs. The exhausted man with his back partially turned makes for an interesting element. You did a great job with the artificial lighting and the tones of the stone walls and steps. Well done.
