[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A desert Mariposa flower and bloom on the 50 yr Trail, north of Tucson. It has been one of the best springs I can remember for wildflowers.

There are varieties of the Mariposa that range in color from yellow to red.

Very nice shot of a very interesting flower. The open one in front of the closed one leading to the soft and slight bokeh of the background makes for a very striking image.
Well captured and presented as well
Thanks much for sharing.

Superb composition and fine details. The light is quite magical here.
A really lovely posting.
If I might make just one suggestion? I think I'd be inclined to reduce the size of the signature so that it is about 50%-60% of it's present size.
