[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
A Giraffe (Giraffa camelopardalis) "shot" at a safari park. The "camelopardalis" part of the name, comes from roman times, when it was thought a Giraffe was part camel, part leopard. The Giraffe also has the smallest sleep requirement of any mammal, which can range from 10 minutes, to 2 hours.
(Reference: Wikipedia)

Other: Your having a giraffe!!! ( your having a laugh)

He was quite content just picking leaves from the tree, letting me "shoot" away... hope you like him!

Hello, Graham.

An excellent shot!

Perfect exposure, wonderful colours and imcredible detail and sharpness. A nicely out-of-focus background too.

Fabulous!

Best Wishes,

John.

Hello Graham,a fine portrait of the giraffe. The details are very sharp;I feel as if I could touch his 'fur', it looks so soft.
Colours are beautiful.
Aren't their markings wonderful?
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Graham
I absolutely love this shot. Its so clear and looks like such a gentle giraffe.
From your note I wish I was a giraffe then perhaps I wouldn't feel tired all the time.
Thanks for posting this - its great.
