[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Back to Stover today, this Swan is one of a breeding pair on the lake, hopefully this year they will have some sucess as last year there were no young.
I am not sure if this is the male or female but whichever it sure caused a stir as it went on it's takeoff run.
Thanks to all who take the time to view and comment on this shot.

great photo, captured the moment nicely

Hi andy

This is a terrific shot! You have captured the moment just right!

Agoes is right - the splash at the back really adds to the mood of the shot - excellent capture

Cheers
Linzi

Great fast shot Andy, I like how the bird
seems to be flying low across the water and/or hovering there.
It's a very unique shot. Well composed.

Great catch!
I love the way it's flying just above the water.
And it's kind of soft and gentle, and the positioning of the wings.
It's calm, yet fast.

I would brighten it up a bit.

Hello Andy, I like this shot with the swan flying through the frame.Your timing was impeccable.
I can almost hear its wings as it tries to take off.The pose of the swan and the back spray are excellent.
Tfs, regards Jean.

Hi Andy.
Great moment captured with perfect sharpness. Good looking wings of swan and dots of water on his back.
My compliments.
