Tremendously sad shot ... to see the look in its eyes, and then to see the context of that cage, those unlined bars underfoot. I guess for all our potential for empathy and kindness, we humans can be the cruellest species also.
Good composition here although the washed-out areas of sunlight are an unfortunate detail it would be better without.

Great shot Cyrene,very dramatic!

The eyes are perfectly sharp.
Its a pitty the monkey isn't watching between two bars, now he's got a big bar over his face.

Hello. The shot is amazing. I think the color really matches the mood of the poor monkey in the cage. Its eyes also connect/relates to the mood. This one's perfect! Great job!
