| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This shot was first an experiment to see how noiseless a shot taken at ISO 1600 would be. Then I realised that I could do something more with it.
Basically I desaturated the BG completely, then reduced the saturation from the face but kept the eyes fully saturated.
I reduced the overall noise in Adobe Camera RAW then completely smoothed out the BG in CS3.
This is my younger brother by the way :-)

Hi Joe,
I figured that this must be your younger brother.There are definite similarities there.
This is a nice clear capture with plenty of impact again.
Has your brother taken to photography like you yet? I bet he will.

Joey, I "almost" like it. You did a great imaging post process, but I, personally, and not a big fan of "thirds" which you are probably familiar with. A little less background on the left, and a little more image would have encouraged me to give you an A+1 Excellente. As is A+2.
