This is the view from Heavens Gate overlooking Longleat House and its grounds. You might just be able to make out Longleat House towards the centre of the picture, just past the river.

Sorry I'm late today, been to see the physio-terrorist at hospital to sort my knackered arm out !
Pretty composition and nicely framed, I think your camera struggled with the dark foreground and sunny distance, I've done a WS for you and hope you're still talking to me after you've had a look

Good composition, and use of thirds, Karen. Sky looks a bit grainy around the edge, but it adds to the scene. Can almost imagine myself doing a roly-poly down into the valley lol.

good landscape image, nice sky and good cloud shadows...hops ws does enhance it, but it was a decent image to start with...as the saying goes...u cant make a silk purse with a sows ear...

anyway...nice capture well composed...
