OK people, BEWARE, as you all know, the Mayas have predicted that a cataclysm will take place on or about December 21st, 2012.

Well, THEY ARE WRONG.

A black hole will appear and suck in the Moon and IT WILL BE THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT!!!!!!

So if you have any vacation time saved up. Might as well take them.

PP: Used a photo from last year I modified and wanted to post but never did.
Pasted the Moon over a great looking night sky (done last year).
Today, selected the moon with a circle selection and inverted the selection.
Applied a Twirl effect in Paint Shop Pro X2.

Hello to those of you that are just looking.
And HELLO and THANK YOU VERY MUCH to those of you that take the time to leave critiques/comments/workshops :-).

Black holes are where God divided by zero.
- Stephen Wright

OK, for those of you that don't get it, a division by zero in a computer program makes it crash. P.

Why it is that of all the billions and billions of strange objects in the Cosmos-novas, quasars, pulsars, black holes, you are beyond doubt the strangest?
- Walker Percy

Yes, that means YOU. P.

OK, that takes care of the twisted part :-)

I'll start planning my holidays now!!
Good twister, and I do like how you have left the moon whole - well done Pierre
Janice

salutations
Michel

Nice job ,love the PP. Looks like a twister sucked the moon with all the force. The Colors are great and the colorless moon provides a nice contrast.

Nice pp work Pierre, great photo for the theme. :D I like the colours too, look like one of those ads for the chocolate! :D

Best wishes,

Yeah, I heard about it.... so I've stopped paying my income tax. I Figure it will take them a while to find me anyways, and by then it will all be over! HA! Wonderful pp work...I feel dizzy! Of course this reminds me of that song, "Black Hole Sun"

Bonjour Pierre
Usage de psp a donne de tres bon resultats. Ca l'air d'un yummy butterscotch and fudge ice cream swirl.

Moi tout ce que j'aurais pu contribuer pour ce theme est ma colonne vertebrale, mais comme c'est un site ou la nudite n'est pas permise, je me suis restraint.

Excellent resultats.

Hiya Pierre

Right thats it then, am selling everything, the house the dogs the kids... ah but not the camera !! and I am going on permanent vacation until the moon gets swallowed!!

Great shot here and superb PP work, lovely post for the theme

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Seems you are picking up where Werewolf left off - howling at the moon! Yeah, took your advice: we cashed in our chips and took all the vacation time we had .... a few more sleeps before we go to Europe. After that: TL meet in Montreal. Hope the end of the world doesn't come until then (need to run up some credit card bills first - whoppeeeee!)
Cheers
Otto

Makes me wonder why that other was never posted. Excellent work Pierre, love that swirl and the colours came up very well. TFS,
David

Many thanks for your comment on ‘Twisted Seeds’. Not the only seed like that down here. When they fall from the plant is when they start twisting and bury themselves. As kids we would put them on our sweaters and watch them twirl.

Very nice idea, great colors and effect.
Good job.
Mario

Salut Pierre
Excellent.
Amicalement
Antoine
