[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This little goldfinch seems to like the feeder outside my bathroom window. Here he is perched in the shrubbery awaiting his turn at the feeder after having been chased away by more aggressive members of his spieces. Amazing how they leave just as they begin to look pretty! Last year a few stayed around all summer for us to enjoy.

Tech stuff: Cropped to selection, increased contrast and saturation slightly, minor sharpening and resized for TL requirements.

Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy my little friend.

this is a great capture . He indeed looks very peaceful . I am trying to get such a closeup shot but without success . I just can't get close enough . But I will keep trying and hopefully I'll capture one like you did . Jim
