The first photo of the bride, coming out of the church : the "demoiselles d'honneur" were neatly raising blue roses as a "guard of honour", after which the traditional shower of rice (for good luck) started, although it is in theory forbidden nowadays... (=> If you follow this link, you’ll be able to tour a series of photos on this subject (some rather FYI, but interesting IMHO) and finally return to this original post :) => next photo : => the traditional shower of rice

A Sicilian wedding : they have been living in Belgium since decades, but still they have kept their particular customs... We were watching this wedding with Italians from Rome who enjoyed this tremendously and were as curious as I was, it was a bit like a movie with new events happening every minute.

(I've yet to answer to your last critiques, I'll do it the next days ; the reason of the "no ratings please" = as I wrote in my last post and in my intro : for the time being, I'd prefer to get non rated critiques or comments, as I'm not able to visit very regularly this fine site - please don't waste your precious "smileys" with me, but of course I'll be very happy to read all your reactions, positive or negative (and I'll answer once in a while - sorry if I'm late in my answers !) Thanks for your visit...

Hello Cath,
Beautiful capture and really well composed shot. TFS
Vandana

Great moments.Nicely taken.I like the happy expression of the bride.

Nicely done, but I'd've made that column straighter though that may have skewed the people as well. One of my programs will change the perspective actually so something like that might work better. TFS
