| Coast of Normandy, France. Once, this was a heavy artillery machine. The Germans used it to shoot the Allied ships on D-day. Later that day, it was destroyed by the Allied. |

Interesting shot and reminder. We have some of these artillery bunkers still visible near San Francisco, installed "in case" during WWII. Thankfully they didn't get used and now they are abandoned. Seeing them in person still gives me a chill though. You have captured this scene well, with clear details and an excellent POV looking through the structure. Good work!

Very good POV, perfect sharpness and good balance of colours. IMHO, the colours convey some special mood to make the photo more impressive. Also, the background is very clear, so we can see through the bunker.

Elena
Hello Kristof,
this is an interesting shot with a good point of view and great sharpness.
But let me say that the horizon is not completely straight. And I think the sky a bit too bright.
So I tried a workshop with only little adjustments. I hope you like it and don't mind me playing around with this image.
Thanks for sharing. Kind regards, Britta
