After many hours of research, NZ horticultural scientists have come up with this...the NZ Fruit Salad Tree.
It produces, in alphabetical order; apples, bananas, feijoas, kiwifruit, oranges and pears.
All ripen at the same time.
The scientists need to do further research however, the pineapples and watermelons keep falling off.

Hello Peter,

Before anyone else asks, may I have a graft from this unique tree. Fresh fruit salad would no longer be an issue at meal times!

I am sure it took very careful pp work to create such a flawless posting!

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Peter,
Excellent concept ... I like your light humor here ... this would be an ideal April Fools posting :) Very good processing to the extent it looks very believable.... aptly titled. Excellent work! tfs

Hi Peter
Great idea for the theme
How fanastic would it be if wwe could have a tree like this in our own garden!

Excellent PP work Pete. Good colour in each of the items and a lovely blue sky. Sandy said they are her favourite variety of pear. Is that a Loquat tree they are all sitting on?

hi Peter

I would have to rate your post today under category called 'Impossible', but how I wish we can have this tree planted in our backyard and yield the balanced fruit diet for daily need.

You are the most crazy person to come up with this idea, perhaps someday another crazy agro-culture person will grow a plant like this? Good to see a new idea.

tfs, bill

Hi Peter,

Very good PP work and probably the best and most imaginative entry to the theme I have seen so far.

Cheers

Hi Peter,

Seeing what one can achieve in New-Zealand I think we made the wrong decision not to emigrate - yes, I can see why the pineapples keep falling of here, already too heavy with delicious fruits, no need for them - they seem to be the less healthiest of them all.
...still amazed at your find...

Els

Well put together, like the light and shadows on all the fruit, makes the composition very realistic

Hi Peter,

This is an excellent piece of PP work you got here. I'm not sure whether we will ever get a tree that bears multiple types of fruits but it would be very convenient wouldn't it? Probably the scientists need to develop 'sticky' watermelons and pineapples first before introducing them to the NZ Fruit Salad Tree.. LOL..

TFS.

Regards,
Alvin

Hi Peter,

Ha Ha Ha,

Great idea Pete,
Its got me wondering what the tree actually is though. It almost looks as though it could be a nut tree like macadamia ... or perhaps an avocado or loquat ?
Do you remember what it was.
... Just curious,as always.
Cheers
Steve
