Hi Vincent

Looks like Mars, or even another planet. A superb (& safe) high pov. I now regret not seeing Bromo volcano in Java, Indonesia, when I was there. I'll definitely try to get to Maui, in December if I make it through my Korean contract. Good color & sharpness. Tfs!

Interesing POV, certainly had to look twice to make sure it wasn't Mars; pretty amazing image and a view, almost well inside this marble.
The rolls and curves and lines and shapes are really other worldly, it's an impressive capture of, I'm sure, an impressive place.

Ominous! I expect some moon creature to pop up or slither across the surface. I reminds me of the cinder cone at Mt. Lassen State Park.

This is a very striking image of an alien landscape that looks both blasted and alive at the same time. It must be the warm and vivid colors that you have brought out that give it the feeling of warmth rather than bleakness. You showed the contours well with good sharpness and light. I was absolutely bewildered seeing that photo. It realy looks like another planet like you say. Stange mix of colors and texture, a curious pattern drawn on the side on the main hill. No sky to be seen, just that kind of sandy mountain. I love it.
