Leaf and Droplets
 |
|
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| Continuing my recent series of garden macros. It was a beautiful afternoon, with blue skies and bright sun, but it had only recently rained heavily, so many of the plants still had raindrops on them. I liked the intensity of the green colour, the fine detail on the leaves and the sparkle of these droplets. Obviously this was taken at more of an angle than I thought, because the DOF is still insufficient to avoid blurring outside of the mid-region of the photo. Also, this was taken in RAW mode, so there was no in-camera sharpening, and I have not sharpened in post-processing. The only change I have made is to slightly alter the White balance of the original RAW file. |

I like the soft edges; they rather accent the sharpness and detail of the central drops and leaf. very pretty shade of green. Thanks for posting it.
Hello David,
This photo is fascinating for my standards. The tone of the green is great!
