[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The single piece of peeling bark that was hanging off this sycamore tree caught my attention. The side of the tree was lit by the late afternoon soon, while the background was in the shade, thus blackening it out. I always liked this abstract image, with the balance of light and dark and the bisection of the image, and with the small piece of light colored bark dangling into the dark side.

I like it too:) The close study of the bark and the peeling piece makes a fine composition. The light and contrast work to feature the shapes and details. Wonderful texture. Well done!
