Hi Mercedes,
welcome to TrekLens! This is the right place for photo experiments and improvement.
This type of photo is simple in composition and yet not very easy to take since it deals with white tones. In a case like this it is better not to cast a shadow over the subject, or to use flash (better focus and brighter white). I made a workshop for you with some adjustments. Keep on posting!
