I was out in the yard today... Taking shots of everything that had a flower on it! When I noticed my failed experiment.. Yesterday I tried moving this baby rose bush away from the dryer vent that was killing it.. I guess I should have left well enough alone.. Yesterday this bloom was alive and a nice peach color

BG is the foundation of my house...

PP work.. See no frame.. I could not get one to work...
slight crop to get rid of the empty top and some dead leaves on the bottom! small sharp.. tiny saturation :)

Still need to find a window for tomorrow!

hi tricia, aahhh you killed it! oh well another photo op! good simple bakcground with nice colors and details, take care!
tfs,
scott

Poor thing.
You probably cut some of the roots when you moved it.
We do lots of plant moves over here. Secret is to take a whole lot of dirt with it and dig deep (8-10") depending on the size of the plant. And when you plant it, use bone meal.
Anyways, good simplistic capture. Love the bare BG.

Hmmm, I don't know of anyone that can move a rose bush in the summer! The best is to wait until winter, on a cold day, replant and saturate ground real good with water! Good news is, you get to buy a brand new rose to replace it!
Nice work Tricia and I suggest you hang this one upside down and dry it!...then keep it!
B-)

Hi Tricia. Great photo and it tells a sad story. The upper leaves are slightly out of focus but the wilted flower is sharp. Replanting is always a risk and I also lost a plant this spring.
