The only good troll is a stoned troll. That is what he gets for terrifing all the little children of Oppdal.

Excellent compo in brown and grey, I like the stone white and red houses, the snow-covered mountain and the stoned Troll contemplating (with melancholic eyes, I presume...)the horizon. He seems a nice guy, although, if I remember correctly from some fairy tales of my childhood, the Trolls do not have quite a good reputation :)

Is it true that the further north you go, the larger the trolls are? In Denmark, they are just tiny, thumb-sized creatures, but this one is very big (and quite a nose)!

So the light hit him to make it stroned? haha. A beautiful compostion which is providing a charming perspecitve. Fine details and luminosity. A baby sitting on the foot of this statue is cute (in the WS). An excellent shot my friend, well done.
