[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Wat Tham Seua ( Tiger Cave Temple ) is one of southern Thailand's most famous forest temple (wat) and it is here at the top of a 600 m karst peak that this photo was taken.A truly arduous climb of over 1200 steps (yes it is correct !) some of them extremely steep. A large Buddha statue ,a guilded stupa and of course marvellous views over the countryside are to be found up there.
As often seen in Thailand and for that matter everywhere Buddhism is practised , direct offerings of coins and paper money are tucked in the folds of the statues' gown.
1/40, f/4.5 ,i boosted gamma, contrast and highlights a little in PP.

Another beautiful capture with a good note explaining a lot of which I know nothing:-) The photo is excellent bringing out the lovely colour contrasts.

Bonjour Carol
J'y vois une disposition très harmonieuse qui met en vedette le triangle à la base formé par la position des mains et les lignes obliques du tissu à gauche qui vont dans le même sens que l'enlignement des pièces et des doigts les plus visibles.
Un titre bien évocateur!
