Taken at the park. Some kids playing baseball, and I was really enjoying this particular team.

The three guys here were almost synchronized with their movements. I'm not a huge sports fan but I do love baseball.

Light adjusted in Lightroom
Adjusted levels to get the vignetting
Cropped
Stamped and Scaled

Thanks for looking!

I can see what you are trying to do I kind of liked the concept but there is not enough facial expression in the closest ball player in detail to pull off what appears to be a very bold very different looking picture

Hi Zeb,
Nice shot of these young future Hall of Famers. The composition and DOF are good but the pic. is a little dark, for me anyway. I do like the PP work and the shot despite that I think its dark is still a nice one. Nice work.
Regards,
Kevin

I like your DOF. Feel a bit too much contrast, but like the shot.

TFS

Nice work Zeb! VERY moody here, almost reminds me of my rainy New York Picture, same style of pp work! Love the DOF on this one! Really excellent work!

Hello Zeb. This is something different and I like that. I don't agree with the first critiquer at all, I think the side-on view works very well and is is easy enough to make out what you need to in terms of expression.

My only minor reservation is about the brightness of the number 14 in the middle of the image, it is slightly distracting in that it competes with the lad's face.

Apart from that I do like the concept and the pp work you have done. This is an enjoyable image.

Hi Zeb - ignore Tex, just about everyone on the site with experience of him realises he's a trolling moron.

The flash of light on the kids face works very well but i agree that the '14' is a tad bright. Maybe a slight crop from the top and left edge would work, not sure.

The image is good, the pp work is good - another of your shots that makes me think. The vignetting effect is another nice touch, i like that.

This is a great sports/action shot, with an excellent POV Zeb.
At first i thought maybe it is too dark, but then after lookign at it a while,
I realized that's part of it's charm. Great vignette effect actually that you have applied here.

It works. Nice job.
