A rose for ???

When my grandfather had his 80th birthday he got this rose as a gift. It was very special and I was lucky to have a tripod and macro lens with me. So the result was this.
So enjoy a beautiful rose now as we go towards summer (in this part of the world at least :-)) |

A beautiful rose Urban and nicely composed. Do you know the name of the rose perchance? - my wife is a rose fanatic and loves the look of this one.
Great result
I love the sharpness and the colors of the image.
