On our way up to the town of Julian in San Diego, we came upon this lake. Only a few months before, this area was threatened by fire. In fact, a few miles away lie burnt trees, a testament to the fire in November of 2007.
But what is wonderful with California's ecosystem is that it readily copes up with the fire, and already the foliage where the fire was were growing.
In PP, I added filter to the top portion to add impact to an otherwise boring sky. |

I love the contrasting colors and layers in this shot Pierre!
The farther mountain could maybe be a wee bit sharper?
But that may just be the haze. Well composed with the placement of the Mountain off center.
