So glad to have you back bro! There was just something missing here, for sure.
You know lately i have kind of felt the same way too. You know, if you look at pictures from picture books and pop photo from maybe 10, 20, even 30 years ago, they were much different from ones today.
They weren't always technically prefect, they weren't super flashy, with super vivid colors, no grain, and perfect clarity.
Yet they were considered good photography. Look at Henri Cartier Bresson, he wasn't always perfect but was one of the best street photographers of all time!
Photography has changed alot in the last ten years, and I think sometimes people forget what makes a good photo because they are used to being dazzled by high definition images with super saturation.
This is a good pose with a beautiful girl. You keep it up man, good work, as always.

Hi rew
For me there is too much back ground and not enough girl.
I find the white thing on the left distracting and the red bracelet thingy. I like the attitude of the girl, she is caged like a tiger, beware.
I have done a mod which addresses my niggles, but which may not be a better picture. I think I should have left the other arm, even with the bracelet.

Hi Rew, You have some excellent models and this is an appealing image. The through the wires works well. Creative work, ideal for TL. Maybe the background fences are a bit distracting, just the one in front would be good to see also. TFS. Murray.
Welcome back Rew. You have been missed
I'm pleased you haven't sliced Kristy's eyes in the shoot - the wire is very close to the left / her right eye though!
I like her look and pose

Hi Rew,
a perfect pose, like a catwoman, for the right place - behind the chained links. more dramatic, i think, if she shows her fangs!.....:)))
welcome back & TFS

Missed you, glad to see your back.
Kristy always does a good job not matter where she is posed. Your comments about the image are right on. Each person that takes the time to look sees something a bit different. But we like what we like.

Again, a beautiful image.
I like the posture of the young woman and the presence of the fence. but also think that you could strengthen the framework around the subject.
You have also made a good choice for DOF.
Good shot,
Thx.
P.s.: I suggest you a small workshop.

This is an interesting pic. I like her pose. She looks like a caged animal. Thanks for sharing.

Hello Rew. I like the cropped version by Sticks as I myself prefer the close-in style.
But that said, the original also has its own appeal in that the context suits the pose, we get more of a sense of the "cage" surrounding your model. Initially I felt her raised arm was too central and that still nags at me - although her left arm is nicely balanced by the foliage on the left of the shot. So there is good balance in the shot. I like the heavy bracelet, it has almost become a focal point in the image, not a distraction as such.
This is an interesting photograph.

Hi Rew,
Well, if not "perfect", whatever that is, so maybe "classic" is a better descriptive word, it certainly is an interesting image.
I think her stance, your placement of her body, hands and head, as well as the good DOF all work well together here.
I think, also, the two WS mods are good and help the original along by drawing more focus the the eyes and face and letting the body frame them--assuming of course that was what your original idea was meant to highlight.
I'll admit to liking Pierre's a bit better than the original and the one by Sticks, but that's me.
The best thing is the image is subject to interpretation as to what's good, better, best, and well all have opinions but all would be moot without a good core image as the baseline.
Good job.
Thanks,
Wilt
hi Rew
Good to see you back again. I also look forward to your Philippines series.
For composition, I like Pierre's WS. The model's pose is nicely done. Good natural light and candid outdoor portrait.

She looks really gorgeous, even in this 'jail'.haha

Hi Rew,
Long time no see! I hope you enjoyed your trip.
Nicely composed shot. The model is off-centered and looks nice. Original POV. Good colors and control of contrast. The fence is catching the eye unexpectedly but still I like this shot.

Masroor

Hello Rew. Brilliant work on Kristy. The rusty chain-links makes excellent screen capturing her beauty. Pleasant framing in perfect exposure. Thanks for sharing and best regards. Jusni
Good shot, I would prefer more zoom on subject perhaps vertical view.
Just another opinion,..:)
