Hi Richard,
The clear light and fresh appearence are well exposed and creating an attractive picture in my opinion. The Star effect of the liht in the floor are great and so is the reflection on the water. Excellent result with the fisheye lens, in fact incredable how good this image is wich such lousy equipment you use (and don't consider that as a compliment....)
Hans
hi richard.
this looks like an amazing place. it could be a scene from a sci-fi movie.
you are a master at balancing the light.
i would be too scared to try a 22 second exposure.
i am in awe.

CUE: seedy film noir music
RICH: Yet another sweltering night, and I found myself heading back to Clarke Quay. Maybe the breeze blew me there, I dunno ... what was I expecting to find? I could feel the weight of my 5D. A trusted friend. Tonight something was gonnna happen. I could smell it ...
Don't know why that popped into my head but I had to write it down.
It seems remarkably dead ... where are all the people? A 30 second exposure, and I can only make out one blurred bystander.
Anyway, good delivery of this nighttime image - sharp, crisp, nice low POV. Good job.
Rew
Hello Richard,
It's an excellent composition with great details , nothing is too bright or too dark just rightly exposed even at 30 secs long ! The star effect is a nice feature and everything ,from what appears a rather low POV , is neat front to back , all in all a picture i am very pleased to look at ,
Compliments,
Carol
Hi Richard,
heavenly beautiful! i am wondering too....for a 30sec and no blurred human in motion. all details are perfectly captured here. a masterpiece shot by a maestro indeed, pal.

Hi Richard,
I like the colors and details in this picture. The long exposure has worked well in this shot. Great POV showing the most of the entertainment area. Looks like a lot of fun.
Regards,
Kevin
Hi Richard,
This is a stunning place very well captured. So strange, that I could see people dressed with some "alu" clothes and having red laser eyes, there! LOL!
Its impressive height is enhanced by the fish eye effect! Excellent long exposure making the colors so vibrant by night. I like this cold coloured harmony. Bravo! Annie
hehehe, I remember so well your previous shots from this beautiful place !
You are the only one going there ?!
thanks,
v
Hello Richard!
Excellent colours and perfect clarity in your picture!
Very beautiful place!
I like very much the star effect!
Best regards!
Lili
This is the type of picture that leaves someone like me (a struggling beginner) in complete awe! This looks like a fantastic place and very exciting with all the lights and by reading your note. This is so beyond me I don't even know where to begin, but I love the picture!!! Thanks, and hey! good to see you, it's been awhile.
Hi Richard,
I was having a teatime with Agoes this afternoon talking about this shot. He showed me via his mobile phone LCD - that I really couldn't wait to see it clearly thru my computer screen. Here it is... and my dropping jaw admiring the beauty.
I am actually about to ask, but your reply to Rew and Agoes gave me the answer. Awesome work, sir.
Regards,
Ramdan.
A beautiful structure, it really lens itself to the fisheye. It almost comes off to me as a bit cyberpunk, if you know what I mean. (perhaps not)
A 30 second exposure was perfect, and perfectly executed with use of tripod. :)I really need to get myself a new tripod, but I dont do too many night shots so there hasnt been a huge need up to this point.
As always, love the work.
Hi Richard,
I have never succeeded with a 30 second exposure even with a tripod. I must be giving off some blond wavelengths or sound waves to cause the inevitable blur! I WILL NOT GIVE UP THOUGH!! :d
Nice, perfect lighting on this shot! Good details of the Quai. Looks like I could have some fun there! Lisa
Hello Richard
WOW! wonderful colors in this interior shot. Perfect setting for the exposure. I suspect that the long exposure resulted in moving people to not show up? Wonderful soft colors in the roof area. Congratulations

***Please don't hate me*** My first thought was WOW, incredible...second thought was, it's crooked, (unless it was intentional)...but I prefer it to be straight. So how do you level a shot that has NO horizon to see? (you ask?)... I took the CENTER most vertical line on the building and made it straight up and down, see WS. With a SUPER DUPER wide angle like this, you can only use the CENTER of the shot as TRUE. Other than that Excellent exposure, a quality shot! I still give you two just because of that!

Hi Richard, Good night composition of this famous part of modern Singapore. Your use of tripod is a good idea as it makes the focus more sharp. The colours are realistic and the effect is like being there. TFS. Murray.
PS i'll be in Sing 25-29th maybe catch up again.

Stunning image Richard, you are inspiring me to look into that 15mm fisheye for myself.
I thought that it must be an "L" series the image is so clear and sharp, but i guess it's not an "L"?
The stars are glorious as is the color.
Looks like a fun place to shoot night photos.
Lucky to not have any blurred motion of people in the shot.
Really well done.

Very nice 'night' shot - sharp image throughout. Some people don't seem to like the fisheye distortions of perspective, but I always think they're good to show a scene....
Not bad for a canon (as Hans points out haha)
Cheers
David
Hi Richard, quite an impressive location,I was impressed with the clarity & sharpness of this image,I would not have thought of keeping the ISO @ 100 nor the 32 second exposure,I guess that is why when I try this type of shot I get lots of noise, due to raising the ISO too high, did you also lock the mirror taking this shot?

Interesting place, makes me think of the movie "Blade Runner" (a fav) but it's not claustrophobic enought for that. Good work on the long exposure and the white balance adjustment. It's very sharp with nice color rendition, I assume the live view looks about like this, but if not, it should. :o)
Someone else mentioned the lack of people, that was surprising to me too.
Also, this feels like the least "fishy" fisheye, which I guess it the layout of the scene, I've seen.
You did, again, nice work here, great image.
Thanks for the view,
Wilt
