A shot of a moon jellyfish (Aurelia aurita) peacefully floating in a tank in the London Aquarium.

Jellyfish are marine invertebrates belonging to the class Scyphozoa of the phylum Cnidaria. They can be found in every ocean in the world and even in some fresh water. Jellyfish stings are known to be extremely painful.
Jellyfish are an important source of food to the Chinese community and in many Asian countries.

The glass reflex worked to your favour. The blue color is splendid.
As suggestion, I would compose placing the jellyfish off center.

Morgwathien,

this is a good attempt at an aquarium shot, but it seems a little unsharp, this could be the glass and water distorting the jelly.
the blue background makes the jelly stand out and the centre placement works good here as there are no other distractions.

A beautiful shot Barbara. Not an easy subject but you captured the see through jelly fish very will. The dark blue really makes this one stand out.

Czesc Basiu, ale piekna medusa,zaraz przypomina mi mity greckie "Meduza" tyko tamta z mitow byla bardzo brzydka,wspaniale ujecie ,sliczny kolor wody,ladnie centralne skadrowanie.Wspaniale zdjecie.Czapka z glowy.

Tried those also, Barbara - at the aquarium in Vienna. But when it comes to such shots, I usually cede to my wife, who is better at it.
