This is the Monumento às Bandeiras, just besides the Ibirapuera park.
This monument represents the "bandeirantes" which were the Portuguese explorers. In addition to the Portuguese (on the horses), there're represented the native indians, the mamelucos and the slaves brought from Africa. They're pulling a canoe.
I couldn't avoid the overexposure, there're many people passing by so I set up my camera at the automatic. But in the overall it came out nice.
