Very heavy rain the last couple of days has meant staying indoors with not much to photo. On the back porch was this old clothes drying rack, dripping wet. The colours and water drops made for an interesting picture I think.

He he, I didn't notice this one before i posted my pic. I guess I'll be doing the loundry and hang it to dry at your place - even though it does not look like it will actually get dry ;).

I like this Chris, it's an origional idea. Just a simple every day object, easily forgotten but brought forward by you. The narrow Dof is really nuice, i think i wider Dof woudl have made teh shot cluttered. Well done Chris :)

Well done Chris! Multiplicity of colours and excellent sharp on the drops! The framing is lovely and i enjoy the contrast between the sharp front of the picture and blur background!

Well done

Aren't you glad it rains sometimes, as this gives us a chance to explore. I love this photo, the colours and the angle you took it has created a really nice abstract form. Good reflections and clarity in the rain drops. Well done.

very well seen. it is beautiful, water drops look so pure. good use of DOF.

Hi Chris! I had a theme of world clothespegs on TE - this would have been a welcome addition there! But your probably right that it really belongs here...

I like the way you've taken it very much - the vivid colours and the light in the droplets. The panaoramic crop is good too, but I wonder about the cut pegs at the edges.

Wonderful wetness, fine dance of colored clothes pegs on a clear surface, good job.

This is fun, Chris. The drops of water enhance this everyday scene a lot, and you also got an excellent DOF here with the distinctively shaped pegs very well recognizable in the back, however blurred they may be. Good colors. Very cool.

Great use of DOF, i like the bright colours and added detail of the rain drops resting on the line. A relaxing shot very well captured, i like the format too.

Very well seen, Chris ! the brilliant drops and the vivid colors make me forget the rain !
I also very much like the panoramic format you have chosen.

Great! really interesting shot for its colors, shapes, waters drops, and short DOF really well controled/chosen!
Very creative and original Chris. This picture should have been noted with many more smilies than it is!

Mon dieu, que les choses ordinaires sont belles lorsque l`on prend le temps de les observer...
Détails et couleurs à couper le souffle...
Bravo!!!!!Mr!!!!

Lovely image, I like its depth, and the shiny heavy rain drops...

Great shot..good DOF..Great colors..well done

Now I know where Aiden gets his macro from. Just to let you know, your son is watching you. Then again, you knew that.

How "simple, ordinary, daily life things" can be transformed in a very attractive image? Ask Chris aka cxxl, he succeeded wonderfully! :o)))
You will be the fourth image on my new theme...

What can I say that hasn't already been said, Chris, this is an exquisite piece of photography, everything about it is perfect, well composed, balanced, vivid and colourful.
Well done, good work.

I really like this. Nice use of DOF.

Interesting picture Chris, good but difficult framing. Like you said the colours and water drops made the picture interesting. Good work.

Magnifique cliché, très original. Jolie couleurs. Belle créativité. Amitié, Patty.

Nice shot!
Colours are really good.
The DOF is perfect.
I love it!

Great picture. I like the vivid colors and shallow DOF. Best wishes!

Just wonderful.
Well seen.
It makes you glad that pegs are made of different colours.
Rain. Pegs and no washing. What a mixture!
... and every line has at least one broken peg.
This picture says so much about the back yard.

superbe !!!
