Here is a diferent view from yesterday location atop Telegraph Hill. I change from the 105mm lens to an 18-200mm and cranked out to just 55mm to expand the view all the way to the morning fog bank. You are still looking west over the church spires toward the ocean.

Wikipedia: A much quieter neighborhood than adjoining North Beach and its bustling cafés and nightlife, Telegraph Hill is primarily a residential area. Aside from Coit Tower, it is well-known for its gardens flowing down Filbert Street down to Levi's Plaza. The neighborhood is bounded by Vallejo Street to the south, Sansome Street to the east, Francisco Street to the north and Powell Street and Columbus Avenue to the west, where the southwestern corner of Telegraph Hill overlaps with the North Beach neighborhood.
Today Telegraph Hill is known for supporting a flock of feral parrots, primarily Red-masked Parakeets (Aratinga erythrogenys,) descended from escaped or released pets. The flock was popularized by a book and subsequent documentary (2003), both titled The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill.

What a place to be! If it weren't for the earthquakes, it would be paradise!...LOL! We have mosquitos, snakes and hurricanes here... This is marvelous Daniel! The details, I can see every window! Excellent series here!

Another great shot of Frisco Daniel! Perfectly exposed and a beautiful and very sharp view, thanks!

Mario

Another perfect picture postcard view of SF, with a typical fog bank as bonus in the background this time. Great light, POV, and composition (glad you included the greenery in the foreground). My daughter describes SF as a "short" city...and this illustrates what she means, seeing the few tall buildings amongst the more numerous shorter ones. Of course, the downtown financial center is the "tall" district:) Excellent shot, as usual:)

BTW Linda: We can go for years and even decades without a troublesome earthquake...how long can you go without mosquitos, snakes, and hurricanes? LOL!

Nice view of San Francisco, Amazing clouds in background and so tree in front. These keep the city in middle very sharp.
