[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The fire-eater and fire-breather who worked on a city-festival in Harsefeld, northern Germany, was quite active, he did lots of tricks.
So here is another shot of that evening.
It is again a shot of that part of the show when he worked with two burning ropes.
Due to the movement of the artist the body isn't sharp.
As M_A_C_R_O wrote in one of his critiques I added a completely black background to the image to bring out the fire much better. And I selected the body and reduced the red level to give the skin something like a natural look. As the man wore black trousers his legs are not visible in this setting any longer.
I reduced via gamma settings the blue level a bit to bring out the living red and yellow of the flames / the fire better.

Hallo Britta,
hat irgendwie nicht geklappt mit meiner critque - der WS dafür aber schon.
Ich denke, dass hier eine längere Belichtungszeit und eine Frontalperspektive besser bzw. auf jeden Fall dramatischer gewesen wäre. Mach dir nichts draus, dass sich niemand sonst die Mühe macht seine Meinung zu deiner Arbeit zu schreiben. Die meisten hier sind gar nicht an Fototechnik interessiert sondern wollen nur chatten und Punkte sammeln. Je mehr Punkte du verteilst, deso mehr kommen auch zurück. Kann jeder machen, wie der denkt - aber ohne mich. Also - weiter viel Spass am experimentieren.
Du musst das Bild vorher im Kopf haben und dann genau so umsetzen. Einfach draufhalten und digitalen Müll produzieren kann heute ja jeder. so gesehen ist das Bild wirklich klasse.
