Hello Everyone,

I can't believe how quickly Helen's theme comes around!

My contribution today is the view from my turret window onto the beach at Beadnell. The photograph was taken in the early evening. (in October the sun sets quite early!)

In October, my husband and I spent a few days in Northumberland. It is quite a long drive from where we live so it was teatime before we arrived. After the obligatory cup of tea and light hearted chatter, we went up stairs to unpack. This was the wonderful view that we had from our window. It was quite breathtaking!

It is a little difficult to appreciate perspective with no-one on the beach but I will add a photograph of the house, showing our turretted room, in the w/s.

Many thanks for stopping by.
Please feel free to offer me feedback.
Bev :-)

Hi Bev,

That's what I always do when staying in a hotel, making a picture from my window view - but this one is really very attractive - hope you had finished the unpacking ^-^.

Hope you had a lovely evening yesterday!

Hi Bev,

So you have spent some time in God's County then? I was born not too far from Beadnell, isn't it a wonderful place.

Love your image, love the curve of the beach and the waterline. Love the reflections, through the water, really brings the eye into the pic. I think I might have been inclined to clone out whatever it is on the right of the frame though.

Well done and TFS,

John

i would always want to wake up with this by my window,
a lovely composition, like your POV. framing your
subject with a part of the door is great.
clear and vivid. well done.

hello beverley,
what a fantastic view.Love the last of the sun's light shining over sand and water. Quite magical. I am about to google Beadnell as its not too far for us to travel.
Bev

Hi Bev,
Excellent view well captured. The light is superb here, well framed and presented!

A room with a view and a half Bev. A lovely image with good light and detail. I am not sure about the object protruding from shutter but the view makes up for it.

I was going to say keep busy in your retirement but I guess that won't be hard for you to do,
David

Hiya Bev

No kidding there nor can I, I thought it was Wednesday today and didnt realise otherwise until I saw all the "Looking down" images appearing in the gallery lol.

You capture here is really beautiful, a breathtaking POV and superb idea to use the door as a natural frame. Really lovely posting here my friend and oh boy could I do with a stint on that beach right now

TFS and for joining in the theme

kind regards Helen

Hi Bev,
Love the subtle colors and fine soothing details to this tranquil look out the window.
What a great way to end the day with this peaceful sight. Love the stunning reflection on the low tide beach.
Regards, Tom

One of the Best sunset landscape,

Splendid reflection on the wet sand. The open window is a good idea : it is like our screen is open to this sunset !
