[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Marilyn and I were sitting on our deck enjoying the sun, I was having a beer
and she was reading a book.
All of a sudden, this cloud covered the sun, and there was a huge gust of wind.
All I can say is, thank goodness I had finished my beer.
Our hats, Marilyn's parasol, my empty beer can, and her book....gone.
Just as well I had my camera handy, otherwise, who would believe me.

When I told Marilyn what Helen's theme was, she said "what about that bloke in the clouds
looking down".
I said OK, that sounds good.

PP work,
Grab a cloud pic from my folder.
Another shot of the Santa doll from last Christmas.
Pics of two hats, empty beer can, and parasol.
Pic of old dictionary.
Google 'Gone with the Wind, take macro off screen, add text.
Desaturate santa face, blur out wrinkles,
Assemble in nine layers, flatten image, and using the clone tool at 10% opacity and soft brush,
move cloud over hats, face etc to merge into the 'wind'.
Using the lens flare filter, created the sun through the cloud.
Cropped, framed, and resized for posting.

Hi Peter impressed with the originality of your image, well thought out, esp'the book title,I wondered if the beer type
was inspirational in the construction, hence the reason for covering its name:)
Well done

It's a brilliantly done scene - very clever once again. I really look forward to seeing what you have manufactured for us each week for the theme

Hi Peter
Shades of the north pole in sight, with Santa breathing down already.
I like the roll of the beer can, fortunately it was emptied, it would have been a real waste.
Great composition and expert pp work.
Dot

A wonderful piece of artwork Peter. I image many hours went into this. The PP is seamless, congratulations on such a wonderful outcome.

Excellent PP work yet again Pete, I am always amazed at the way you blend things in. A lot of work and imagination in this one and a brilliant addition to the theme,
Dave
