****NOT FOR THE THEME**** as he is looking up not down and I already have one photo added to the theme this week :)

Here is Noah again! My 11 year old son taking photos of the Gulls on the beach...

Lately he is my favorite model!

I really did some major PP work here...

I love that he is choose to use the view finder and not rely on the LDC screen :)

Anyone wishing to do a ws or to add tips please feel free.... I had TONS of fun playing with color, no color, filters and layers here.... I will also add the original in ws... I tried to redo this last nigh and could not erase the bg via filters (can not figure out how I did it yesterday)

ANY tips on how to blend the bottom, and righ side to blend better in the frame? I could not figure it out!

Yes. I see he got a viewfinder aswell.
Good and easy to use camera it is. Handy to carry it with you, which I forget many times, haha
Best regards from Jan

I just love the high key effect of this and it's the perfect half of the diptych you started with yesterday's posting

Hi Tricia,
I like the PP work you made with this B&W with the strong lighting effect. Excellent composition with your son off centered on the right side.
Very nicely done! Annie

hi tricia, love the boys composition and yes glad hes using the viewfinder too, looks like a young pro, not to sure about all the white mixed on that but still nice post,

scott

Great high key effect - really works well, especially with the negative space in the left of the frame. Great PP work.
Thanks for sharing

I really like the high-key approach here, Tricia. A good shot to start with, though a bit overexposed. Harsh sunlight on the beach... troublesome for the light meter!
So, very nice pp work indeed. Well done.
Yep, the viewfinder is better than the lcd screen, it's a good habit for distant subjects. For close things, the lcd is better as the viewfinder has a bit of parallax.

OH man, how did I miss THIS??? You get an award for this one Tricia! And why on Earth does this thing not have 100 points on it?? Everything about this shot is wonderful. Love the high key look, excellent positioning in the corner, A fun pose, not contrived. A perfect shot in my opinion...come on people!!..Just amazing!

Like it very much Tricia, that high contract in the picture, those deep colours and of course the fact that Noah is concentrating on making pictures.

The original is a great summer picture, but this one is artwork - please keep on doing this.

Ans a good model he is! Really like what you have done in PP Tricia and the way you have composed the final posting. Bravo

Dan

Very good PP work Tricia and the high key result most effective. Nicely positioned at the edge of the frame and room to 'look' into. Well done,
David
