[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Not my normal style, but I thought I would have a little fun with reflections. There is no prize for guessing what it is, but after cropping, I rotated the image 180 degrees. I looked at it and I thought the perspective looked wrong. I asked my daughter and she said it looked fine to her. I am not sure whether it is me, as I know what the original composition looked like, or whether indeed it does look odd.

What do you think?

Hi Peter,
If I leaned over the bow of a boat, my picture would look exactly like this.
The image works fine, the reflected colours are well saturated, giving the boat itself more prominance, I like it, well seen.
Pete.

Hi Peter,
Very creative work.Good idea and excellent reflection.TFS.

If you mean that the perspective looks wrong because it's not centered exactly, then I would agree with your daughter. The composition makes you wonder what it is you're looking at for a second, then the "irregularity" of the off-centeredness and the reflection make you look longer at it. After seeing that, I then wondered where you were when taking it. Looking down at the water from a position head on, not on the boat? Did you PP any reflection of yourself out of the shot?
An interesting shot.
Kind regards,
Jim

Peter Hi;
I think it looks creative and artistic. I have been told artists see images that everyone else looks at but does not see. I think this is artistic.
Congratulations, very well done.

Hi Peter, I had to look at this for ages and finally turn my lap top upside down to see how you had taken it! Great image, thought provoking.
