[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This recently came first in the 'Outside Looking In' challenge over at www.DPChallenge.com. I was pretty surprised, as I don't think it's one of my best but people seem to really like it.
Taken at Thorp Perrow Arboretum. ISO800.

veri nice and cleare photo. I like gray ton on it. thanks for sharing.

very nice Bob.... great job!... the mix of colors is amazing...

congrats

What an excellent idea and opportunity. Exemplary work!

Nicely done, Bob! The light is beautifully balanced and it is well composed. The black area on the right is a bit distracting, but it was hard to avoid. Congratulations!

Very good.

Pass the door... Leave your word of B&W and find a colorfull world on the other side! Great one! I enjoy the way you turn that composition!

i'm not surprised at all!! what can i say Bob... this could be straight out of my dreams! :-)) oh how i dream of such a secret garden... this is so beautiful.. the composition and use of selective desaturation is sublime.. you've really enhances the sense of magical mystery that lies beyond that gateway and the 2 different worlds you'll find on either side.. so brilliant.. excellent work and congratulations on your prize! ^_^

I think not only is the drastic change in color excellent but so is the composition. The doorway is to the side but there is a tree and a small fence to take up part of the bare wall. Great work.

Very good composition Bob. It seems that it is the door of the paradise. Very well done.
