[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
While visiting North Carolina a while back I did a hike along the Eno River. I had my long zoom on my camera and spotted a few geese going about their usual routine. The water that day was very still so I was able to get some decent reflections.

This is a verticle isolation crop of a larger horizontal composition, I will put the original in a workshop.

>>>> Wikipedia

The Eno River, named for the Eno Indians who once lived along its banks, is the initial tributary of the Neuse River in North Carolina, USA.

The Eno is notable for its beauty and water quality, which has been preserved through aggressive citizen efforts. Though barely more than forty miles from its source to its convergence at the Neuse, the Eno features significant stretches of natural preservation.

Hi Vincent,
Awesome reflections with very nice detail in the feathers on these gees. I really like the pose of the geese on one leg. Nice work.
Regards,
Kevin

hello vincent!
this is so nice geese catch, but you have to much green tone and, i don't like this crop.
i make a workshop and hope you like.

Hello Vincent,

A very nice and clear picture, the reflections are beautiful!
I think I like the original frame better, there's more space and I like how a surface of the water (terrific color) 'fills' the image. Excellent quality, as always!
Best,
Iza

Hard to choose between this and those in the WS Vincent. I like the stillness and ripple of the water, the green background is exquisite, and a beautiful reflection. And oh I forgot the geese - gorgeous! Danilo

Salut voisin,
Bonne idée ce recadrage, cela apporte un résultat étonnant avec cette moitié d'oiseau... par contre, il aurait peut-être fallu laisser un peu plus d'espace sur la gauche.
J'aime bien la balance que te propose Zoran
Bonne journée

Excellent shot and crop. I like both versions, but this one is more engaged with the geese. The closer look helps us see their faces and feathers in more detail and also notice more easily how the goose on the left is standing on only one leg. You were not afraid to crop out part of the goose on the right, a good compositional choice. Well done.

hi vincent, good vertical crop, nice colors and reflections, could be a little sharper?
still nice,

scott

Hello Vincent
Great capture, very sharp, with a superb reflection and amazing colours. I love the detail of the duck sleeping with only one leg on te water. Very beautiful nature photo.
Congrats, mb

Hi Vincent I like all three images,& enjoyed #2 over the others, I thought your posted one ,IMHO was the stronger due to their positioning, so wondered what # 2 would look like if it's positions were the same as #1 so have posted the result in a workshop, what do you think of the change if anything?
